Oby im życie łatwiejsze było... : o Januszu Korczaku i jego wychowanku

Collection Janusz Korczak Association of Canada
Description This book tells the story of Leon Gluzman (1914-2012), a Canadian businessman and philanthrope. It is mostly focused on Gluzman's childhood, spent in the Orphanage ran by Janusz Korczak and Stefania Wilczyńska. The story is richly illustrated with reproductions of souvenir postcards from Leon Gluzman's collection, documenting his life in the Orphanage, allowing readers to learn how this institution functioned. The publication also touches on the subject of how Leon Gluzman travelled to Canada and how he then came to popularise the person and the ideas of Janusz Korczak.
