Tri noveloj

Collection Biblioteka Narodowa
Description This publication contains three short stores: Tadeusz Konczyński's "W jesienny wieczór", Janusz Korczak's "Błazen" and Balduin Groller's (also known as Adalbert Goldscheider) "Obrona honoru". The story "Błazen" comes from the book "Koszałki opałki (satyry społeczne)" published in 1905. It tells the story of a performance by a circus clown whose actions cause audiences to laugh, and then weep. This story about a circus is also a tale about the meaning of life. The circus has previously been used in this fashion by Korczak in works such as the texts published by the journal Czytelnia dla Wszystkich in 1899.
